Graphic Design for Onyx Brands
Led the digital design system for Onyx Professional across two very different surfaces: a fully custom Shopify storefront and a deep library of Amazon PDP assets. The work pairs a bold, editorial brand language with conversion-driven layouts, and leans on AI-generated imagery to scale photoreal product and lifestyle scenes across a fast-growing catalog of SKUs.
Designed a custom Shopify storefront for OnyxBrands.com, building beyond off-the-shelf themes to create a true brand homepage: a joyful, inclusive hero of real people, a signature red "skincare for your feet" mission banner, and merchandised product modules that pull each SKU’s personality forward. The result is a cohesive shopping experience that feels like a brand world, not a template.
Built the Amazon PDP main image stacks, the swipeable hero sequence a shopper scrolls before buying. For products like the Nail Dryer Finishing Spray I designed "New Look, Same Results" comparison frames, ingredient-callout diagrams, and benefit highlights, each frame engineered to answer objections and drive add-to-cart on mobile.
Designed full A+ content modules for the detail pages: "Why You’ll Love Mistify Me," the "Soft Swirl" sandalwood-and-vanilla scent story, the "Get Polished" foaming scrub with layered fragrance notes, and the playful "Hard as Hoof" infographic with step-by-step routines. Each layout adapts the same system to a distinct product personality and color story.
Established a flexible visual language, ingredient-arrow callouts, certification badges (vegan, paraben-free, PCR packaging), and an editorial serif-and-sans type pairing, then applied it consistently across scent variants like the Shake It Up body wash trio so the whole catalog reads as one family while each SKU stays distinct.
Created AI-supported product and lifestyle imagery to scale the catalog efficiently, generating photoreal hero shots, in-shower lifestyle scenes, and texture/ingredient visuals that would have been costly to shoot individually. This let the brand launch new flavors and SKUs quickly while keeping every asset on-brand and premium.
